Edith Lee Schwartz and Heather Strang kick off our monthly author series with a poetry reading, discussion, and book signing.

Edith Lee Schwartz, former library employee extraordinaire, will read from her latest book, My Mother's Trunk: Poems & Essays.  Miss Schwartz's writing has appeared in Rain Magazine and various newspapers.  Edith continues to volunteer at the library.

Heather Strang has appeared frequently in 20-Something Manifesto, Four and Twenty, Goodness Magazine, and Portland Monthly.  Her most recent work is Anatomy of the Heart: Love Poems.  Additional information on Miss Strang may be found at http://www.heatherstrang.com.
